London-Based Piano, Organ, & Keyboard Sessions, In-Person and Remote: Jazz | Soul | Gospel | Pop for $150

I'm John, a professional musician and multi-instrumentalist based in London.

Many of my clients are independent artists and producers who try to do it all. They sing and play every instrument. They write, record, mix, and promote everything themselves. They often work full-time to pay the bills and fund it all. And on top of that, they need to constantly expand their skillsets to navigate the ever-changing music industry.

This gets to be overwhelming, even discouraging, and these artists need help. They need a team of people they can trust to execute their vision, giving them the freedom to turn their focus toward making and performing their music.

This is where I come in, helping artists turn their demos into polished, album-ready tracks. With over a decade of experience as a professional musician and a studio equipped with a piano, Leslie speaker, and analog synths, I provide the skillset and tools artists need to bring their sound to reality.

Before moving to London, I was based in metro Detroit for a decade. My mentors included some of the Motor City's finest exports: Barry Harris, Geri Allen, and Bob Hurst. Active on Detroit's diverse scene, my experience spanned jazz, gospel, R&B, and hip-hop, putting me on stage and in-studio with artists like Antwaun Stanley, Shana Wilson, and Jax Anderson, as well as recording frequently for the Assemble Sound record label. My work since moving to the UK includes dates with Jack Hues, Guido Spannocchi, and the late Doug Sides, alongside mentorship from Barry Green and Steve Waterman.

My aim is to bring this complete Detroit-to-London experience to projects. This means delivering the technical facility, soulfulness, and range of a seasoned professional while maintaining clear communication, sensitivity, and a commitment to service. The result is songs you'll be proud to release and perform. Get in touch to get started today!
